I forgot that this photograph was taken!
With only a few weeks between that conference and today, it already seems so long ago.
Since the conference, we are all busy with regular studies but as a group, we're all pooling our options for presenting other experiences of Antiracist Activism.
This was my second experience attending a writing center conference, and I think these opportunities are so important for tutors to connect with great writing center community.
If only there were more funds available to send more tutors to more conferences, eh?
As difficult as our work may seem, it helps keep me on-the-level to remember that we do not work alone. We are not operating in a vacuum; there are many other talented, dedicated writers standing beside us as continue on together.
Thank you for posting this picture!

I think in Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe has used anti-racist rhetoric to promote a land distribution scheme which has resulted in widespread starvation. However, President Mugabe himself heads a racist government that carries out blatant acts of hostility and oppression toward white Zimbabweans
